Effective: 10 August 2026

This policy explains how Navica uses cookies and similar browser technologies on navica.ai and the Navica platform.

Our current approach

Navica currently uses cookies only where they are strictly necessary to authenticate users, protect requests, complete sign-in and secure short-lived platform sessions. Navica does not currently use advertising cookies. Non-essential analytics or marketing cookies will not be placed unless and until Navica provides appropriate information and obtains any consent required by applicable ePrivacy law.

Cookies used by the platform

CookiePurposeDuration
navicaJwtAuthenticates a signed-in user and protects access to the platform.Until logout or the associated session/token expires.
navicaCsrfTokenHelps prevent cross-site request-forgery attacks on browser session requests.Session or the configured security-token lifetime.
navica_sso_flowStores sealed, single-use security state while a user completes sign-in with an identity provider.10 minutes; cleared after the callback.
nv_terminal_<random>Secures an authorised, short-lived embedded terminal session for the specific terminal path.Until the terminal-session lease expires.

Third-party sign-in

If a user chooses Google, Microsoft or Zoho sign-in, that provider may use its own cookies on its domain under its own privacy and cookie terms. Navica does not control those provider-domain cookies.

Managing cookies

Browser controls can remove or block cookies, but blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or secure platform functions from working. If Navica introduces non-essential cookies, the website will provide a consent control that allows users to accept, reject or change those choices.
